Welcome
Counselling is a very personal experience, and it takes a great deal of courage to share your inner self with a complete stranger. As a registered psychologist, I strive to create a calm and safe space where you can explore, be yourself, and work towards goals that are meaningful for you.

I am fascinated with how our brains work and how they direct and influence our thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and behaviours. I have seen how slowing things down, being curious, and taking a pause can give us the opportunity to explore our reactions, calm our nervous systems, and choose a more effective way to respond. These new responses, though they might be small in nature, can create large and powerful changes in our daily lives.
I believe in everyone’s ability to learn this pause, create positive change, and thrive.
I strive to accept you as you are and where you are in your life, respect your personal values, and collaborate with you on your goals for growth. I commit to do all I can to be welcoming, open, and accepting so we can create a space where you can find stillness and begin to flourish.

“The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention…. A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words."
