My Definition of Counselling
Counselling is a unique relationship that allows individuals and couples to explore their most personal experiences and challenges in a safe, supportive and compassionate space. Within the counselling relationship, an individual can learn about themselves and how they relate to others and the world around them and in what ways these relations may influence feelings, thoughts and behaviours. This opportunity for self-reflection and self-awareness can provide an authentic and genuine learning environment where clients can discover values which bring meaning and purpose to daily living and set goals for personal growth.
